About Dudgeon Builders

Lee's knowledge and exptertise stems from the traditional building methods he was taught as an apprentice. Skills which he has now passed onto the employees of the firm - many of whom have been with us since serving thier apprenticeships. Our employees are all highly skilled and qualified and experienced tradesmen, specialising in traditional building practices.

We are proud to be able to offer a full building service, involving not only the traditional trades associated with a building firm but also more specialist areas including solar and renewable energy, underfloor heating, interior design and landscaping. From the concept and design stages we use the skills of qualified architects and town planners whose attention to detail and understanding of the clients needs and requirements is paramount.

As an experienced project manager, Lee provides a full-time, on site presence throughout the entire project to ensure timescales and budgets are met and that every element of the project is to the complete satisfaction of the client.

The active involvement of both directors provides a stress free environment for the client, drawing upon Lee's years of experience in the construction industry and Katie's work in the Finance and Insurance world, further enhancing the level of service provided by Dudgeon Builders Ltd.

Fortnightly site meetings and regular updates add to the level of personal service provided by Lee and Katie who's approach is always client centred.

Membership and Awards

We are members of the Construction Industry Training Board, teaching building skills to those serious about a career in the construction industry.

We are also members of the Federation of Master Builders (FMB), a sign of our commitment to the importance of quality, first class workmanship. By gaining membership to the National Register of Warranted Builders and an associate of Trustmark, we are able to offer insurance backed guarantees for all our work. it also ensures that our work is inspected and approved for quality standards. Dudgeon Builders Limited received the Highly Commended Award in the FMB's Master Builder of the year 2008 Competition for the outstanding workmanship demonstrated during the renovation and conversion of a family home at Weeton in Leeds.

In 2010, we were again nominated in the categories of 'Heavenly builder', 'Small renovation project', 'Medium renovation project' and the Specialist category for 'Energy Efficiency'. Lee won the regional Heavenly Builder award and once again received the Highly Commended award for Medium Renovation project.
